About Us
The Republican Committee meets every month on the fourth Wednesday at 6:30pm at the Masonic Hall
Our Policies
- Strive to keep taxes low
- Protect property rights
- Preserve Clinton's rural character
- Promote fiscal responsibility
- Partner with neighboring towns to lower costs and increase services
Our Successes
- Kept Clinton one of the lowest taxed towns in Dutchess County
- Became a Climate Smart Community
- Added solar panels to the Town garage
- Replaced seven inefficient oil furnaces, with an energy efficient geothermal system
- Obtained close to $1 million in grant money
- Joined the Wappinger Creek Watershed
- Expanded and improved Clinton's park services and summer camps
- First town in Dutchess County to fight the power line expansion
- Preserved several historical buildings and cemeteries
- Built a salt shed
- Maintained a 100% equalization rate
