When to Vote, and How to Register to Vote:

~ Deadline to Register to Vote in General Election: October 28th, 2023

~ Deadline for Change of Address for General Election: October 23rd, 2023

~ Early Voting Dates for General Election: October 28th - November 5th, 2023

~ General Election 2023: November 7th, 2023, 6:00am to 9:00pm

In New York State, you must register in advance before you can vote.

In order to register to vote, you must meet the following requirements:

be a United States citizen;
be 18 years old (you may pre-register at 16 or 17 but cannot vote until you are 18)
resident of NY state and the county, city or village for at least 30 days before the election;
not be in prison for a felony conviction;
not be adjudged mentally incompetent by a court;
not claim the right to vote elsewhere.
